James Hatfield

SULPHURSPRINGS, Ala. James "Jim" Hatfield, 77, died late Saturday evening, Jan. 5, 2013 at his residence. He was a self-employed Machinist and a Master Electrician for many years. Mr. Hatfield was a graduate of Valley Head High School. He was of the Baptist faith and attended the Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.Mr. Hatfield was preceded in death by his wife, Genevieve Hatfield; son, Roger Hatfield; grand-daughter, Ruby Hatfield; parents, Weston C. (Racehorse) and Ruby Hatfield.Surviving are sons, Rev. Benny (Kay) Hatfield, Somerset, Ky., Danny Ray Hatfield, Sulphur Springs, Ala., Bill (JoAnn) Hatfield, Sulphur Springs, Ala., Scott (Cynthia) Hatfield, Davenport, Fla.; two brothers, Russell Hatfield, Trussville, Ala., Ted Hatfield, Lenoir City, Tenn.; two sisters, Carolyn Woodyard, Huntsville, Ala., Myrna Estep, Trussville, Ala.; 9 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Visit www.RyanFuneralHome.net to share memories and condolences.Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 8, at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Benny Hatfield officiating. Interment will be in Sulphur Springs Cemetery. Family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. today and 11 a.m. till service time at Ryan Funeral Home in Trenton, GA.
