Joan Davis

Joan Davis, 72, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012. She was formerly employed by Hamilton County Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Davis. Survivors: sons, Curtis Davis of Chattanooga and Freddrick Davis, of Knoxville; daughter, Diane Davis, of Chattanooga; 6 grandchildren; brothers, Thomas and Larry Pharr, of Palm Beach, Fla.; sisters, Sondra Pharr, of Ambridge, Pa., Eunice Pharr, of Detroit, Mich., Sharon Pharr, of Philadelphia, Pa., and Thelma Abraham, of Wilmington, Del.; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.The body will lie-in-state on Monday, Jan. 14, at 10:30 a.m. with a graveside service to follow at 1 p.m. in Ruth Cofer Cemetery. Arrangements are by Taylor Funeral Home of Chattanooga, Inc.
