Mildred Springer

Mildred Marilyn McGill Springer, of Signal Mountain, passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013. She was born on Feb. 3, 1923 in Detroit, Mich., where she and husband Donald (deceased) raised their family. They lived in Orlando, Fla., for many years before Mildred retired from AT&T in 1982. They eventually moved to Alexian Village on Signal Mountain where they loved the beauty and hospitality of Chattanooga. Mildred will be remembered for her kind, patient, spirited and loving personality in addition to her love of music, all animals and devotion to family and friends. Mildred is survived by children Michael Springer and wife Michele Moran, Donna Springer Brewer and husband Bob, and Julie Anne Springer.Visitation will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 16, followed by a service at 11:15 a.m., both at Alexian's chapel, Alexian Village on Signal Mountain.
