William Austin

William Ray Austin, 83, passed away, Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013.He was born on Sept. 6, 1929 in Bridgeport, Ala., and moved to South Pittsburg in 1950.He was a retired employee of US Stove and Foundry. He was a faithful member of the South Pittsburg Church of God until he was confined at the Bridge.He was preceded in death by his father, Jess Austin; mother, Grace Walker; step-mother, Lola Coley Austin; and brother, Bob Austin.He is survived by his sister, Ann Gudger and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. CST, Monday, Jan. 14, with Bro.
