Alan Thomas

Alan Downey Thomas, 66, of Red Bank, went to be with the Lord Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013. Alan was a member of Red Bank Presbyterian Church and was a former employee of Combustion Engineering. He enjoyed fishing and collecting model cars and going the local drag races.He was the son of the late Hubert and Margaret Downey Thomas.Survivors include his sons, Jason (Marie) Thomas, of Red Bank and Kevin (Bri) Thomas, of Soddy-Daisy; brother, David Thomas, of Hixson; three grandchildren, Bradley Thomas, Sarah Thomas and Chloe Thomas.Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace with the Rev. Everett Gossett officiating.Entombment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.Visit www.lanefh.com to share condolences.
