Deric Horton

FLINTSTONE Deric Allen Horton, 30, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013.He was a lifelong resident of Flintstone and was a member of The Chattanooga Valley Church of The Nazarene.Deric was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leroy and Sue Horton.He is survived by his mother, Shirley and David Dameron, of Flintstone; father, David Horton, of Chattanooga; grandparents, Wes and Ruth Chambers, of Flintstone; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at The Chattanooga Valley Church of The Nazarene, 2853 Chattanooga Valley Road, Flintstone, GA 30725, with Pastor John Bemis officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Chattanooga Valley Church of The Nazarene.
