Robert Chism

Robert Lee Chism, 63, passed away on Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at his home.He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Lucille Chism; brothers, James and William Chism.He is survived by daughter, Carmen Summerrow; siblings, Margaret Chism, Chattanooga; and Alice (Johnny) Henson, of Nashville, Wallace (Ora) Chism, of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Harold Chism, of North Carolina; a host of nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at National Cemetery with Minister Gilbert Aikens and Pastor Edward Thrasher officiating. The body will lie in state after noon today at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
