Raymond Wallace

FORTOGLETHORPE Raymond Oscar Wallace, 78, departed this Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013. He was born in Chattanooga to the late William Edward and Geneva Kathryn Wallace. Raymond was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Chattanooga.He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ruth Wallace; son, Robert Wayne Wallace; and several brothers and sisters.Survivors include his sons, John and Michael Wallace both of Rossville; siblings, Carl Wallace; of Hixson, Ronald Wallace and Linda Hale both of Ringgold, David Wallace, of Rossville, Brenda Brown, of Benton, Tenn., Patricia Shaw and Rana Cross both of Florida; granddaughter, Amber Bean; and many nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday Jan. 22, in the chapel with Bro. Bob McCoy officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens-East. Family will receive friends all day today, and prior the service Tuesday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.
