Virginia M. Cooper Johnson, 69, formerly of Chattanooga passed on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013 in Fayetteville, N.C.She was preceded in death by her parents, Early L. Cooper, Sr. and Dimple Salmon Smartt.Survivors include siblings, Betty Moseley, Mary Tankersley, Claudett Hendley, Edward (Lizz) Cooper and Dennis Finley, of Chattanooga; George Salmon, Knoxville and Early (Kathryn) Cooper, Jr., Florence, Ala.; uncle, Claude (Lila) Salmon; step-mother, Mattie Cooper; other relatives and friends.Services will be Saturday, Jan. 26, in Fayetteville, N.C.
