DAYTON Bettye L. Harrison, 68, died Saturday June 29, 2013 at her home.She was a resident of Dayton for 41 years. She was a member of New Union Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by parents, Horace and Fannie French Ragon; sisters, Mary Melton and Elizabeth Terry.Survivors: husband, R. Barry Harrison, of Dayton, Tenn.; daughter, Lisa Duke, of Hixson, Tenn.; granddaughter, Ragon Duke, of Hixson, Tenn.; sister, June (John) Thompson, of Philadelphia, Tenn.; sister-in-law, Linda Lauderdale, of Cleveland, Tenn. and Judy England; several nieces and nephews.A special thanks to the many families and friends that have been such a comfort and support over the past year, including members of New Union Baptist Church, Hospice of Chattanooga, and two special caregivers, sister-in-law Linda Lauderdale and sister June Thompson.Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday July 2, in the Chapel of Coulter-Garrison with Dr. Danny Ruehling and the Rev.
