Thomas C. "Tommy" Smith, 74, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 in a local hospital. He retired from Industrial Water Chemicals. He was a loving husband and caring father that will be greatly missed.He was preceded in death by his father, Tyrus Clinton Smith and mother, Pauline Coleman Smith.Tommy leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, E. Ann Smith; sisters, Delores (Bob) Morrison of Gruetli Lauger, Tenn., and Pamela (David) Lewis, of Signal Mountain, Tenn.; brother, Danny Smith of Chattanooga; sons, Tommy L. (Carol) Smith, of Dayton, Tenn., Michael Todd (Lori) Smith, of Hixson,; daughters, Angela Nichols of Hixson, Kimberly (Kevin) Shipman of Hixson; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.Visitation will be today 4-6 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace.Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, in Chattanooga Memorial Park with Dr. Tony Wilson and Reverend David Burkhart officiating.
