Jeffrey Brewer

CLEVELAND Jeffrey Alan Brewer, 46, passed away on Tuesday July 2, 2013 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was an active member of the Central Church of Christ of Chattanooga and attended the Eastside Church of Christ locally. Jeffrey was a talented photographer and enjoyed reading and various types of art. He had a love of the great outdoors. Jeffrey also enjoyed Bible Classes and studying the Scriptures so that he might grow in his knowledge of the Bible. He will be forever remembered for his friendly personality, witt, loyalty and love of God. "For me to live is Christ and to die is gain." Philippians 1:21Jeffrey is preceded in death by his three grandparents John H. McConnell Jr. and Turner and Ruth Brewer.He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving parents Jim and Judy Brewer; one sister Jena Brewer; his "Mamaw" Frances McConnell; special nephew Parker Morgan; aunts and uncles Linda Randolph, Ann and Kenneth Rayburn, David and Linda Brewer, Carolyn and Randell Ferguson and Reba Boling; special friends Susan Simpkins and Shane Robinson; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.A celebration of his life is planned for Sunday, July 7, at 3 p.m. at the Eastside Church of Christ located at 252 Wildwood Avenue in Cleveland, TN with Ministers Jeff Archey, David Schonhoff and Shane Robinson officiating.The family will receive friends at the Eastside Church of Christ on Sunday from 1:30 p.m. until the 3 p.m. service time.Memorial donations can be made in Jeffreys memory to either the Central Church of Christ at 400 Vine Street Chattanooga, TN 37403 or to the Eastside Church of Christ building fund.You are encouraged to share a memory of Jeffrey and/or your personal condolences with his family by visiting his memorial guestbook at www.companionfunerals.com.Companion Funeral & Cremation Service and the Cody family are honored to assist the Brewer family with these arrangements.
