Margaret Hise

Margaret Ruth Hise, 88, of Hixson, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at her home with her loving family by her side.She was a member of Burks United Methodist Church and her hobbies were gardening and quilting.She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Hise; and granddaughter, Pamela Ulrich.She is survived by her daughters, Theresa Jane (Jerry) Smith, Ruth Ann Catlett; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel with Pastor Amy Nutt officiating.The family will receive friends for visitation from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. today, July 5, at the funeral home.Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Kody Dyer, Rivers Defriese, Luke Jackson, Anthony Ulrich, Phillip Dyer, Robert Catlett, Jason Defriese and David Catlett serving as pallbearers.In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Burks United Methodist Church, 6429 Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN 37343.Visit www.hamiltonfuneraloptions.com to share words of condolences and view the memorial tribute.Arrangements are made by Hamilton Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 4506 Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN 37343. 423-531-3975.
