Dorothy Nancy Pannell Brown, 89, of Chattanooga, died Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at a local nursing home after a lengthy illness.She was born April 22, 1924, in Knoxville, a daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Pannell and Lydia Margaret Walden Pannell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver James Brown.She was the owner of Dots Ceramics on Rossville Boulevard. Mrs. Brown was of the Christian faith.Survivors include daughters, Judy Brown Mathis and Charlotte Brown Lowe; sister, Helen Pannell Cooper; grandchildren, Stephen Mathis, Christy Mathis Miller, Lisa Morgan Mendenhall, Andrew Lowe and Alison Lowe Leon; and six great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, July 12, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev.
