Sr.Floyd Callaway Reed Sr., 67, East Ridge, died Monday, July 8, 2013, in a local hospital.He was retired from the Hamilton County Highway Department. Mr. Reed was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd I. and Thelma Fowler Reed; a son, Floyd C. Reed Jr.; brother, Wayne Reed; sisters, JoAnn Peoples, Sue Cope and Hatty Farris.Survivors are his wife, Linda Phillips Reed; sons, Randall K. Reed and Thomas R. Reed; brothers, Buddy Reed, Joe Reed, Archie Reed and Larry Reed; sisters, Billy Jo Compton, Cathy Phillips, Gloria Cobb, Kim Forester and Tammy West; grandchildren, Daniel Reed, Matthew Reed, Justin Reed, Kathrin Fine, Tiffanie Reed and Richard Reed; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Private services will be held later.Visit www.heritagefh.com to share words of comfort with the family.The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Friday at Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
