Omah Lee Paris Morgan, 86, of Chattanooga, fell asleep in the arms of her Savior on Friday, July 5, 2013, at her residence.She was born in Hooker, Ga., to the late Murphy Paris and Tressie (William) Stephens. She married the love of her life the late Harvey Morgan. She was a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marjorie; son, Leonard; son-in-law, Bobby Mobley and daughter-in-law, Dr. Sara L. Morgan.Survivors include children, Larry Morgan, Joyce (George) Gibbs, Linda Mobley, Deborah (Patrick) Russell, Judy (Ty) Beeman, Sabrina (Aubrey) Leftwich and Konda Jones; brother, Clifford (Bobbie) Paris; and a host of other relatives and family.Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 11, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Paul A. McDaniel officiating.Interment in National Cemetery.The body will lie in state after noon today and the family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. today, July 10, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
