RINGGOLD Jessie (Lee) Ireland, 86, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at a local health care facility.She was born on Dec. 30, 1926 to Author B. and Tessie Standefer Smith, both deceased. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Wanda Haralson; three sisters and four brothers.She attended First Presbyterian Church of Chattanooga for many years and was a graduate of Soddy-Daisy High School, class of 1944.Survivors include her husband, Lamar Ireland, to whom she was married for 66 years; son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Patty Ireland; sister, Sara Allison of Houston, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, James and Mary Lee Smith of Goodview, Va.; son-in-law, Eric Haralson, of Knoxville; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.The Rev. Chris Ehlers will conduct the graveside service at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, July 12.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to World Missions Fund of First Presbyterian Church, 554 McCallie Ave., Chattanooga, TN 37402, or Changed Lives, P.O.
