CHICKAMAUGA James Franklin "Jim" Ellis, 69, died suddenly at his home Wednesday, July 10, 2013.He was a lifelong resident of North Georgia and was a 1962 graduate of Gordon Lee High School. Mr. Ellis was founder and owner of Thermal Systems Inc. for more than 45 years retiring in 2010.He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mildred Ellis.Survivors are his wife, Terrie Lynn Brown Ellis; sons, Charles C. (Qin) Ellis, Chickamauga, David Eric Ellis Chattanooga, and Michael A. (Brynn) Ellis, Chickamauga; daughter, Stefani Byrd, Atlanta; sisters, Ann Ellis (Randy) Still, Ringgold and Deb Ellis, Rock Spring, Ga.; grandchildren, Cheney, Austen, Jackie, Jack, Henry, Freddie, Gracie, and Emery Ellis; nieces, Kathy Maples and Jessica Henry; nephew, Andy Still; and beloved dog, Trigger.Private graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday in Garmany Cemetery with Rev.
