Nellie Stuckey

CHICKAMAUGA Nellie F. Stuckey, 69, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2013.She had been a resident of Chickamauga for the past 30 yrs. and was a member of Union Avenue Baptist Church. She was born to the late Wilbur and Lucille Collins West in Bainbridge, Ga. Nellie was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who will be greatly missed.She is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Stuckey; and brothers, Hubert West and Johnny West.Nellie is survived by her children, Charlotte Stuckey Mangrum, Laura Lynn Stuckey, Jill E. Collins, June Tinker and Cleve Stuckey; sisters, Avis Fowler and Elizabeth Young; brothers, James West, Alton West and William West; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.The funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2013, in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Dewayne Madaris and the Rev. Joe Fowler officiating.Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. today and prior to the service on Friday.Arrangements by W.L.
