RINGGOLD Danny Leon Williams, 63, passed away Monday July 22, 2013.A lifelong resident of the North Georgia area, he was a member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church. Danny was a former employee of Chattanooga Boiler and Tank where he worked for 20 years and Ace Vending where he worked for six years.He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Henry and Irene Ann Layman Williams; and two brothers, Halbert and Jimmy Williams.He is survived by his wife, Jan Pfeiffer Williams, of Ringgold; two children, Christy (Pete) Williams-Barrett, of St. Petersburg, Fla., and John (Tabitha) Williams, of Ringgold; brother, Rev. Hoyt Williams, of Tunnel Hill; three sisters, Inez Swanson, of LaFayette, Ga., Nancy Manning, of Tunnel Hill, and Glenda Hughes, of Tunnel Hill; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 25, 2013, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Ellis Chastain officiating.Interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 2-9 p.m. today, all day Wednesday and until funeral time Thursday at the funeral home.An online register book may be signed at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel Ringgold.
