Lillian Cunningham

Lillian Elaine Cunningham, 97, of Red Bank, formerly of Athens, Tenn., passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013.Lillian had been a member of Red Bank Baptist Church for over 55 years and sang in the Senior Adult Choir. Her passion was cooking cookies, cakes and mints.She was preceded in death by her husband, Weyman H. Cunningham; parents, English Tullock and Gracie Tullock; brothers, Jake and James Tullock; sisters, Ailene Barber and Dorothy Stillwell.Survivors include her daughter, Janice Burris, of Chattanooga; son, W. Timothy Cunningham, of Red Bank; two sisters, Mary Ella Rudder, of Etowah, Tenn., and Billie King, of Decatur, Tenn.; brother: Larry Douglas "Doug" Tullock of Etowah, Tenn.; three grandsons: Jeffery, Michael and Adam Burris; one great-grandson, Blake Burris; three great-granddaughters, Haylee Burris, Emilie Burris and Scottie Burris; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace with Rev. Bert Jones and Bill Harvey officiating.Entombment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
