Ernie Woodruff

Ernest John "Ernie" Woodruff, 59, of Soddy-Daisy, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 28, 2013.He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served on the USS Coral Sea. He was the owner of Action Detail in Soddy-Daisy and a member of the worship team at The Springs Church. Ernie was very outgoing and loved the outdoors. He will be missed, but not forgotten.He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Woodruff Sr.Survivors include his wife, Eva Woodruff, of Soddy-Daisy; mother, Nellie Stokes, of Van Couver, Wash.; three sons; a daughter; several grandchildren; three brothers; and six sisters.A service to celebrate his life with military honors will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2013, at his home, 117 Thrasher Pike, Soddy-Daisy. 423-240-9635.Share your memories, stories and photos at www.legacyfuneralhome.com.Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Soddy-Daisy.
