Sr. WHITWELL James Edward Massengale Sr., 63, passed away Monday, June 10, 2013.He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Fannie Massengale; brother, Alfred Massengale, Bill Massengale; sister, Elizabeth Carter; nephew, Bill Carter.Mr. Massengale was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and retired from TVA and Waldens Security.Those left to cherish his memories are children, James (Melissa) Massengale Jr., of Pensacola, Fla., Kimberly (Eric) Cash, of Bridgeport, Ala., Keilli (Michael) Ross, of Whitwell; grandchildren, Tilton, Trinity, Tatyanna Massengale, Kellsie, Draygun Cash, Cierra, Austin, Gabriel Ross; brothers, David (Merris) Massengale, of Whitwell, Joe (Shirley) Massengale, of Lexington, Ky.; sisters-in-law, Wanda Massengale, Wanda Ann Massengale; several nieces and nephews.Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today, June 12, 2013. 1-9 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2013.Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2013 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bill Ross and Rev.
