Troy Lamar Johnson, 57, of Whitwell, Tenn., passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2013.Troy was a United States Army Veteran and a United States Navy Veteran, having served in both branches.He was preceded in death by his father, J.E. Johnson; granddaughter, Alayna Lynn Thomas; both sets of grandparents, J.M. and Edith Johnson and Robert and Minnie Evans.He is survived by his wife, Melinda Johnson; his mother, Margaret Johnson; step-daughters, Stephanie (Terry) Williams, Laura Thomas, Ava Hall Johnson, Faulin Thomas Johnson; sister, Janae (Darrell) Turner; and several aunts and uncles.The funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2013, Graveside, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev.
