Doris Pitts

TUNNELHILL Doris Marie Nelms Pitts, 75, passed away Sunday June 16, 2013 at her residence. A lifelong resident of the North Georgia area, she was a former employee of Cabin Craft Mills where she worked for 12 years and was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. F.A. and Mary Bell Cox Nelms; sons, Martin "Marty" Pitts Jr. and Richard Michael Pitts and brother, Gene Nelms. She is survived by her husband, Martin Pitts Sr. of Tunnel Hill, Ga.; two sisters, Jewell Henry, of Ringgold, Ga., and Sarah Hancock, of East Ridge, Tenn.; three brothers, David Nelms, of Tunnel Hill, Ga., Ray Nelms, of LaFayette, Ga., and Earl Nelms of Dalesville, Ala.; two grandchildren, Summer Richardson and Jessica Robertson; two great grandchildren, Emma and Sadee Richardson, several nieces and nephews.
