Olivia Benford

Olivia Benford, 44, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, June 10, 2013 in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter L. Freeman; brothers, Harold and Michael Benford; and nephew, Dennis Freeman. Survivors include sons, Carlos (Tynika Clemons) Benford, Courtney (Ciera) Benford, and Julian Benford; daughter, Shinerra Benford; six grandchildren; mother, Juliette Freeman; sisters, Emma Benford, Sandra Benford, Betty Freeman, Lois (Kenneth) Martin, all of Chattanooga, and Sheila Whitlock of California; brothers, Melvin Benford, Nathan (Rena) Benford, David (Ivalene) Benford, Walter (Hilda) Lindsey, Norman (Lisa) Freeman, Alex (Melissa) Freeman, Guy Wilkerson all of Chattanooga, and Gregory (Gwendolyn) Pittman of California; stepbrother, Robert Sims; aunts, Norma Jean Hughley and Lena Word; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives; special friends, Dori Tumblin, Ladawnya Adair, Michael Sanders, and many others.Family hour is today from 7-9 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Walter Lindsey as the eulogist. Burial: Forest Hills Cemetery.
