Willie Roberts

Willie L. Roberts, of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2013. She was 89 years old.Willie was one of twelve children and she retired from AT&T with over 45 years of service.Willie was preceded in death by her parents, Charles F. and Ina Sanders; her husband, J. B. Roberts; son, Kenneth Owens and five sisters and three brothers.She is survived by her sisters, Winnie Sanders and Sarah (Lamar) Manning; and brother, Charles (Jean) Sanders; several nieces and nephews.The family would like to thank the staff at St. Barnabas and Hospice of Chattanooga for the love and care given to Willie during her illness.The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and noon to 1 p.m. on Friday at the North Chapel.Services for Willie will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday at the North Chapel.Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.Please share your thoughts and memories at www.chattanooganorthchapel.com.Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
