Marlene Joyce Sharrock McLean, 81 passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013, with her children by her side, at Heritage Nursing Home in Corbin, Ky. She resided in Crobin for the past 10 years.She was born on Aug. 30, 1931 to the late Earl and Inez Sharrock. She was the wife of Herman H. Spurgeon, Peter J. Scray Jr. and Van McLean, all deceased.She is survived by her three children, Linda Scott (husband, George Scott), Dianne Lay (late husband, Michael Lay) and Peter Scray III (wife, Lisa Scray); grandchildren, David Halford, George Scott, Jason Scott, Chris Lay, Michelle Scray, PJ Scray, Michael Scray, Stephen Scray, Kellie Bird, Ben Angel, Tanna Angel and William Angel; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marjorie Rynott (husband, Keith Rynott) and Carolyn Hyden (deceased husband, Don Hyden).After many years of services she graduated from Kirkland High School and was retired from Civil Services.Funeral Services will at noon on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Lane Funeral Home, 833 Chickamauga Ave., Rossville, Ga., with Rev. Billie Dean officiating.Burial will be held at Lakewood Memory Garden South, after the service.The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. on Wednesday until the funeral hour in the funeral home.Arrangements by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory located at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
