Michael Hunt

Jr.Michael Lebron Hunt Jr., 31, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013, in a local hospital.He attended Tyner High School and was a member of Mt. Canaan Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Francine Ellis; grandmother and grandfather.Survivors include his son, DeAndre Hunt; companion, Tanisha Norris and her mother, Sophie Carroll; father, Michael (Angel) Hunt Sr.; grandmother, Jo Ann McCrary; great-grandmother, Lola Harlin, all of Chattanooga; sisters, Menyika McGhee, of Savannah, Ga., and Keisha Russell, of Chattanooga; brother, Corey Byrd, of Chattanooga; uncles, Richard Hunt, John (Lisa) Hunt, of Clarksville, Tenn., Eddie Mitchell, and Curtis Logan both of Chattanooga; aunts, Doris Hunt, Annie Mae Hunt both of Chattanooga, and Jeanette Howard, of Huntsville, Ala.; great-uncles, William Lovelace, of Atlanta, Ga., James Lovelace and Lydell Lovelace Jr., both of Chattanooga; great-aunts, Betty Robinson, Diane Mason, Gwen Taylor, Deborah Colvin and Yvonne Harriston, all of Chattanooga; very dear friend, James Woods; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.Funeral service will be at noon Wednesday, June 26, in the chapel with Pastor Ternae Jordan Sr. as the eulogist.Burial: Highland Memorial Gardens.Visitation from 6-8 p.m. today at Taylor Funeral Home.
