Betty Stone

Betty Sims Stone, 88, of Mowbray Mountain, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013.She was a charter member of Mowbray Baptist Church.Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Albert M. Stone; parents, William Lawrence and Florence Sims; sister, Myrtle Wooten; and brother, Harry Sims.Survivors include her son, Harry T. Stone, of Soddy-Daisy; daughter, Gaile Low, of Marietta; brothers, W.L. Sims, Wayne Sims and Charles Sims; sisters, Helen Kaschimer, Frances Padilla and Dottie Vincent; three grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Services will be 10 a.m. on Monday, July 1, 2013, in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Al Kaschimer officiating.Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.Condolences and memories may be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com.Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.
