Johnny Chambers

CHICKAMAUGA Johnny Dale Chambers, 69, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 27, 2013. He was born in Chattanooga, to the late, John Thomas and Aretta Mae Chambers and lived in North Georgia for most of his life. He graduated from Lakeview High School Class of 1962. John Chambers was a member of First Baptist Church in Chickamauga for many years and was Secretary for the Chickamauga Lions Club at that time. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family he was a loving and devoted, husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Castleberry.Survivors include his loving wife of more than 50 years, Donna Green Chambers, of Chickamauga, Ga.; daughter, who adored him, Lisa Chambers-Bosley, of Killeen, Texas; his loyal brother, Thomas Ray Chambers and sister who will miss him greatly, Brenda Chambers McRoy both of Ringgold, Ga.; two grandchildren who also adored him, Lars Archibald and Gideon Bosley; several nieces and nephews and numerous friends.Memorial services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, at Clearview Baptist Church at 2183 Dietz Road, Ringgold, GA 30736 with Bro.
