LAFAYETTE Patsy Jane Morrison Smith, 67, passed away Friday June 28, 2013 at her residence. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga, North Georgia area, she was retired from Roper Corporation where she worked for 13 years and was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Smith; mother, Willie Lee Coley Eaton and father, Herbert Eugene Morrison. She is survived by two children, Wesley (Montine) Smith, of LaFayette, Ga., and Lisa Conner, of LaFayette, Ga.; companion of 13 years, Ronnie Hall, of LaFayette, Ga.; three sisters, Ann Leming, of Chickamauga, Ga., Rose Marie (Sonny) Harris, of Anacoco, La., and Janice Forrest, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; three brothers, Cecil (Charlene) Morrison, of Deltona, Fla., J.H. (Linda) Morrison, of Flintstone, Ga., and Herbert Parrott Jr.; adopted sister, Ruth Ann Newsome, of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.; three grandchildren, Gracie Smith, Patrick Conner and Zachary Conner, several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday July 3, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jay Neal officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood memory Gardens-South.The family will receive friends today from 5-9 p.m., all day Monday and Tuesday and until funeral time Wednesday at the funeral home.
