ROCKY FACE Clifford Allen Blanton, 47, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013, in Johnson City, Tenn.He was born May 4, 1965 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He worked as a mechanic and enjoyed fishing, camping and just being outdoors.He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford F. Blanton.Survivors include his mother, Shirley Blanton, Rocky Face; four children, David Headrick, Virginia, Eric Blanton, Veronica (Colby) Rogers and Codey Blanton, all of Dalton, Ga.; two sisters, Cindy (Bill) Franks, LaFayette, Ga. and Sherlene (Tony) Rittenhouse, of Ringgold, Ga. and a Brother, Ervin Blanton, Rocky Face, Ga.; five grandchildren, Kaleb Akridge, Kenzli Rogers, Karter Akridge, Caydyn Blanton, Braylen Rogers and Malorri Blanton.The family will receive friends after 10 a.m. Thursday with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home stateroom at 2 p.m.Interment will follow in Mill Creek Cemetery, Rocky Face.
