Don Roberts

Don Roberts, 70, of McDonald, Tenn., passed away Sunday, March 3, 2012.A native of Nashville, Ga., he has been a resident of the McDonald area for the past 33 years. He was a local contractor and member of the Chattanooga Contractors Association; the Hill City Masonic Lodge #603 F&AM, the Alhambra Shrine and their Buggy Patrol. In his spare time he loved raising and riding horses.Survivors include his wife, Ruth Roberts; two sons, Scott (Jill) Roberts and Michael (Kristin) Roberts, all of Chattanooga; five grandchildren, Meahgan, Seth, Mason, Mathew and Shawn; four sisters, Kattie Podagrosi, Margie Browning, Elaine Kent and Linda Lamitie.In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children at shrinershospitalforchildren.org.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev.
