FORT OGLETHORPE Elaine Fulton Thomas, 95, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 4, 2013.She was a longtime resident of Fort Oglethorpe and was born in Birmingham, Ala. Mrs. Thomas was a longtime board member of "Seniors and Friends" in Fort Oglethorpe. She also was a member of First Baptist Church Lakeview and a member of TEL Sunday School Class. Mrs. Thomas enjoyed crafts and teaching ceramics. Mrs. Thomas loved to travel and lived a full life always looking for adventure. At the age of 88 and 90 she went hang gliding.She was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas; children, James Allen Thomas and Adrienne Thomas Davis; grandson, Glendon "Don" Griffin; parents, Elmer and Elizabeth Fulton; brothers, Samuel E. Fulton, Maurice Lee Fulton; and nephew, Bob Fulton.Survivors are granddaughter and husband, Sandi and Darrell Martin, Calhoun, Tenn.; sister-in-law, Sarah T. Seaton; nephew and wife, Ronnie (Diane) Fulton; niece and husband, Wendy (Wayne) Thomas; and nieces, Myra Jo Peace and Barbara Fulton.Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev.
