yJimmie Ruth Hensley Daughtrey, 76, died peacefully and surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Brakebill Nursing Home in Knoxville, where she had been lovingly cared for the last four years.She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Redden Hensley; sister, Peggy Hensley; brothers, Lloyd Hensley and Edward Hensley.Jimmie Ruth was born on May 17, 1936, and grew up on Mowbry Mountain. She moved to Dayton in 1957 where she was a devoted mother to her five children.She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Bobbie Hensley, of Soddy-Daisy; brother, Everett Hensley, of Soddy-Daisy; daughter, Becky Daughtrey Gill, of Atlanta; son, Tony Daughtrey, of Knoxville; son, Ron Daughtrey and daughter-in-law, Becky Daughtrey, of Knoxville; daughter, Janet Daughtrey and son-in-law, Kenny Aguilar, of Nashville; daughter, Wendy Daughtrey Gardner and son-in-law, David Gardner, of Knoxville; grandchildren, Lindsey Daughtrey, Rachel Daughtrey Mallicoat, Derek Daughtrey, Kara Aguilar, Kyler Aguilar, Ryan Gardner and Dana Gardner; great-grandchildren, Mason Daughtrey, River Daughtrey and Annabella Mallicoat; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.The family will receive family and friends at Williamson & Sons in Soddy-Daisy, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today, March 7, 2013.The service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2013.Burial will follow at Hot Water Cemetery.Condolences and memories may be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com.Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.
