Mildred Greene

Mildred Greene, 92, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013. She was a longtime member of Oak Street Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Greene, parents, W.J. and Ida Redden Grant; sister, Rosalie Smith; and brothers, Norris, Kermit and Granville Grant. Ms. Greene is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Vance Pollard; grandson, Scott Pollard and wife, Karen; two great-granddaughters, Cassie and Allyson Pollard; sister, Mary (Raymond) Sutherland; brothers, Willis and Bruce (Violet) Grant, all of Soddy-Daisy.The family would like to offer a special thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga, especially Shauna, Larry and Karen.Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2013, with Pastor Scott Pollard officiating.Burial will follow in Poe Cemetery.
