William Finley

William F. Finley 94, a veteran of World War II, died Sunday, March 3, 2013, at a local hospital.He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Amos and Sarah Sims Finley; stepmother, Bertha Webb Finley; brothers, James, David Clarence, Claude and Joseph Finley.Survivors include a son, Rogers Finley, of New York; two sisters and one brother, Mattie B. Cooper (the late Early Cooper. Sr.), Amos Finley, of California and Rebecca F. Harris (Rev. Grant Harris Jr.) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.A celebration of his life will be held at noon Friday, March 8, 2013, at Second Missionary Baptist Church, 2305 E. Third St., Chattanooga, TN 37404 with Pastor Paul A.
