Mary Elizabeth Short, 92, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, March 18, 2013. She retired from Dixie Yarns of Chattanooga and was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church of East Ridge.She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee J. Short; parents, Sarah Francis and Thomas Lake; ten brothers and sisters.Survivors include her son, Greg (Denise) Short; grandchildren, Stephen Short and Stefanie (Mike) Gentry; great-grandchildren, Piper Gentry Taylor and James; several nieces and nephews.
