Fred Miller

CLEVELAND Fred Raymond Miller, 81, passed away Friday evening, March 22, 2013, at the family residence. Mr. Miller was the son of the late Ester Cain Miller and Luther Edward Miller. His sisters, Jennie and Mary Miller and Ethel Miller Elsea; and his brothers, Harry, Jack, Jewel and Sterling Miller also preceded him in death.Mr. Miller was a U. S. Army Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. He was retired from Magic Chef/Maytag with 25 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and being a grandfather! He loved spending time with his grandchildren! Mr. Miller was a member of Cookson Creek Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife, Mary Miller, of Cleveland; his daughter, Tammy Miller Black and her husband, Todd, of Calhoun, Tenn.; his sons, Charles Richard "Rick" Miller and his wife, Cindy, Terry Glenn Miller and his wife, Kathy, all of Cleveland; his grandchildren, Trent Alan Miller, Tanner Kory Miller, Ashley Hope Black, Charles Richard Miller Jr. and Christopher Ryan Miller; his sisters, Evelyn Dotson and her husband, Donald, Lottie Miller, Shirley Gates and her husband, Kenneth, Ina McSpadden and Violet Ratledge and her husband, Elmer; his brother, Ted H. Miller and his wife, Betty; his sister-in-law, Leola Miller; and several nieces and nephews also survive.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today from the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Rev. Rick Woody and Rev. Mike Rymer officiating.Interment will follow in Cookson Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
