Martha Robertson

Martha Ann Robertson, 66, of Hixson, departed this life and entered the gates of Heaven Sunday, March 24, 2013.She fought a very courageous battle with dignity until succumbing to cancer. Martha was a very devoted wife and a loving mother to not only her own children and grandchildren, but many other friends and family and their children. We all lovingly knew her as "Nan". She worked for 21 years with Kimberly Clark as a Sale Merchant. Martha was a member of the Dallas Bay Baptist Church.Martha was preceded in death by her parents, George and Gertrude McClure; and her two brothers, Harold McClure and Bill McClure.Martha is survived by her husband of 32 years, David "Pop" Robertson; son, Jeff Allen (Andra) Crawley; daughters, Janet Marie (Steve) Miller and Jennifer Dawn (Kirk) Dyer; brothers, Ray (Beth) McClure, Danny (Theresa) McClure, Mike (Pam) McClure; three grandchildren, Hunter Pendergrast, Jacob and Jordan Dyer; four great-grandchildren, Jenny Hirst, Alex, Anna and Ansley Duke.Nan was a wonderful wife, unbelievable mother, and great friend to all who knew her. She dedicated her entire life to her family and friends.The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. today, March 26, 2013, and noon until time of service on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, until the time of service at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel Funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, in the funeral home Chapel with Rev.
