Ronald Walker

Ronald E. "Ron" Walker, 59, of Dunlap, Tenn., passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013.He was of the Methodist faith. Ron was a United States Navy Veteran, serving on the USS George Bancroft Nuclear Submarine. He worked for T.V.A. at the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant as an Assistant Unit Operator. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon E. Walker. Ron is survived by his wife, Sharon Poole Walker; sons, Mitchell (Jerrica) Walker, of Graysville, Tenn., Clint (Mel) Smith of Chattanooga, TN; daughter, Erika (Tommy) Cates of Sale Creek; mother, Kathryn Walker, of Hixson; brother, Steven E. (Lilliam) Walker, of Destin, Fla.; sister, Susan (Gary) Smith, of Knoxville; grandchildren, Jake, Trisha, Nick, Spencer, Alyssa Belle, Raven and Jocelyn; great-grandson, Jace; nephews, Andrew, Colby, Hank and Jack; and two nieces, Karina and Lauren.Funeral services will be noon Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev.
