Sr.BRIDGEPORT Clarence Kirby "Boo" Walker Sr., 67, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013, in a traffic accident.Mr. Walker was a first-term Bridgeport City Councilman and a former city police commissioner, retired Supervisor with Bridgeport City Street Department and National Guard.Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Sue Walker Robinson; and father, David Hardric.Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Lina Nell Fennell Walker; children, Brenda (Anthony) Robinson, Eleanor (Rickey) Matthews, Cherry Moore, Norma Walker and Clarence Walker Jr.; grandchildren, Ty Matthews, Dynasty and Natalie Moore, Shalaundra and Yalaundra Robinson, Lataz and Miasha Smith.The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. CDT Monday, May 13, at the First Baptist Church in Bridgeport.Interment will be in Rocky Springs Cemetery.www.rudderfuneralhomes.com.The wake will be 6-8 p.m. CDT Sunday at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Ala.
