Joe Brewer

IDER Lionel Joe Brewer, 81, passed away Monday, May 27, 2013.Mr. Brewer was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, a 57-year member of Ashlar Lodge 677 in Ider, Ala. He retired from General Mills and Cherokee Warehouse in Chattanooga and always kept a well groomed yard and loved to garden.Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by son, Donald Ray Brewer; wife, Mary Ivaleen Brewer; parents, Thomas and Delorese Brewer; brothers, Cecil, Carl, Oliver, Carter and James Brewer; stepson, Randy Crump.Survivors include sister, Bonnie Brewer; sisters-in-law, Faye, Jean and Rosie Brewer; daughter, Brenda (Ryen) Berghammer; sons, Joseph (Gayle) Brewer, Jerry Brewer; stepsons, Russell (Tena) Crump, Ronnie Crump; daughter-in-law, Jeana Crump; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
