Gertrude Williamson

Gertrude Magnolia Williamson, 73, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at her residence. She was formerly employed by Pilgrims Pride. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hamilton and Ludie Williamson; brother, Wellen Williamson; grandson, Ricky Crawford Jr. Survivors include sons, Ricky Crawford Sr. and Anthony Crawford; daughters, Maxine Crawford and Becky Crawford, all of Rockmart, Ga.; stepdaughter, Pastor Dorothy Henderson; stepson, James Crawford; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Pauline Beaman, Annie Adams, Sylvia Williamson all of Chattanooga, Carrie Long, Myrtle Williamson, both of Buffalo, N.Y., and Louise Darden, of Kinington, Ga.; aunt, Dorothy Marsh, of Chickamauga, Ga.; devoted nieces, Altheria Adams, Janet Adams and Ida Appleberry Strawter; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, special friend, Rosalind Choice Days and other friends. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home.
