Wayne Stephens

Wayne Lebron Stephens, 87, died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, in a local health care facility. He was a lifelong resident of North Georgia and was a member of Ridgedale Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. Mr. Stephens had been a bailiff in the Catoosa County Courts and was a draftsman at Eclipse Lookout Boiler. He loved to play softball. Survivors are his wife, Gladys Williams Stephens; son, Michael (Pat) Stephens; daughter, Jan (Darrell) Moses; grandchildren, Tonya Moses, Marc (Amy) Moses, Whitney (Drew) Hood, Christopher Stephens, and Ashley (Kyle) Stephens; great-grandchildren, Shelby Moses, Addison Moses and Kylie Hood. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Bill Owens officiating. Interment in National Cemetery.
