Marlene Wilson Marlene Wilson, 51, of Chattanooga died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013 in a local hospital. A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Marlene was preceded in death by her father, J.W. Rice. Marlene touched the lives of many through her years of dedication with the city of Chattanooga Parks and Recreation Dept. Survivors are her daughter, Jayna (Maurice) Green; Mother, Peggy Rice; grandchildren, Marisa and Jasmine Green; sisters, Annette Campbell and Sharalyn Bennett all of Chattanooga; brother, Jay Rice, Chickamauga, Ga.; Best Friend, Deborah Graul, Dunlap, Tenn.; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Services will be held Tuesday Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. in the chapel with Dr. Ternae Jordan Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
