Mary Houghton

Mary Hardin Kenyon Houghton, 89, died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013 at Memorial Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and a graduate of Central High School. She was a member of First Alliance Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, C.W. and Augusta Armor Hardin; a sister, Cutis Hardin and her husbands, David Palmer Kenyon and Robin Houghton. Survivors include a daughter, Pamela Kenyon (Richard) Park; son, David (Donna) Kenyon; sons, David (Kim) Houghton and Daniel (Lee Ann) Houghton; daughters, Mary Jo (Andy) Gillham and Nancy Houghton; a grandson, David Kenyon III; many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home; a Memorial Service will be announced at a later time. Mary lived gently and died gently and for that her family is very grateful.
