Narkescia Chambers

Narkescia L. Chambers, 38, of Chattanooga died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013 at a local hospital. She was a 1973 graduate of City High School, and she received her Associate Degree in Early Child Education. She was a faithful member of Mount Canaan Baptist Church where she served in the tutoring ministry. She was preceded in death by her father, Jeffrie C. Chambers, Jr.; two brothers, Carlos and Tavaris, and others. She is survived by a loving son, Tyler J. Chambers; devoted mother, Eliza Chambers; three brothers, Jeffrie and Ramon Chambers, Chattanooga, and Brodrick Fulghum; and one sister, Rhonda Hunter, Eutaw, Ala.; grandparents, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be Monday, Nov. 4, at 11 a.m. at Mount Canaan Baptist Church, 2800 North Chamberlain Avenue, with Pastor Ternae Jordan, Sr., officiating. Burial: Highland Memorial Cemetery.
