Johnny Pack

Johnny Lloyd Pack, 68, passed away on Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, at Erlanger Medical Center. Johnny was retired from U.S. Postal Service as a Postmaster in Trenton, Ga. He was currently working for Walden Security as an officer. Johnny was an avid student of the Bible, history, enjoyed 2nd hand shopping, church activities, being with his wife, their five dogs and their families and friends. He loved helping others. Johnny was a member of Central Church of Christ. He was in the U.S. Army which included active duty service during the Vietnam conflict. Johnny was preceded in death by father, John Pack; first wife, Damaris Pack. Johnny is survived by his wife, Debra Pack, of Trenton; mother, Essie Shelton, Nashville; stepsons, Jeff (Julie) Poston, of Rising Fawn, Ga., Ken (Julie) Pack of Covington, Ga., and Chris Poston, of Rising Fawn, Ga.; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Houston, Sydney Mae and Memphis, of Rising Fawn, Ga., and Kristen and Austin, of Covington, Ga.; aunt, Evelyn Miller; cousins, Norma Stephens, Jean (Sam) Finney, Kathy (Gordon) Matthews, Dana (Eric) Jayne and Troy Miller; several other cousins; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; brother, Donald (Gail) Pack The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel and from 11 a.m. until noon Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, at Central Church of Christ. The funeral service will be conducted at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, at Central Church of Christ with Minister David Schonhoff and Jim Lewis officiating. Interment to follow to Chattanooga National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Johnnys name to D.A.R.E or to M.A.D.D.
